Morphid
Morphid is an online, tile-based, strategy game. Initially was developed as a card game. Finally the creator decided to publish it first as an online game and then as a real card game.
The game establishes itself in an unknown planet, morphid. Morphid as an ecosystem is a very alive planet, which reforms itself at random times. There are many native living forms, which can be used by players, in the battle. There are also ancient hidden temples, which give great powers and abilities.
There are two gameplay styles, the strategic gameplay style and the combat gameplay style. Both are tile-based and real-time. There are no rounds; it’s just the game speed that defines the resource spawn frequency(strategic part) and the action points replenishment(combat part). Everything else is on players. Each entity has its action list. There are ten types of actions; some can be used in battle, some in the strategic part and some in both parts.
Players can make alliances and help their alliance climb on top of the ladder, as they climb on the top of players’ ladder. It’s all about group synergy gaming. If players work together, they will be the best. If they work like lone wolves, they will be the just lone wolves. Depending on the battlefield, a number of players can play simultaneously. The last player standing (or players in same alliance) wins.
Beta version is coming soon…
